Think of your brain as a muscle: It gets stronger with exercise. Your everyday mental tasks are like walking, but how about a real workout? Try these simple exercises to boost your brain power and clear away the fog of forgetfulness.





1. Use your non-dominant hand
Tackling new tasks improves brain capacity in younger people and has a restorative effect on mental faculties that are declining. Boost your brain power right now by performing everyday activities with your non-dominant hand. If you're right-handed, use your left hand to eat, drink, comb your hair, and brush your teeth. Try writing your name with your non-dominant hand or put your mouse pad on the other side of the keyboard.

Why does this work? The human brain starts declining after the age of 30 especially in women with each successive pregnancy. By exercising your brain through the use of non-dominant hand, you are stimulating the opposite side of the brain and activating blood flow, which slows down the brain aging process and improves mental capacity. Evidence from functional brain imaging shows that the process of neuroplasticity1 can be enhanced by studying new things, especially hand-eye coordinated exercises like developing the use of your non-dominant hand and practicing visualization meditation.

Stimulating communication between the two hemispheres even helps physical balance. Mind-body exercises like tai chi coach people to use the right and left side of the body equally. Try switching it up in sports. For instance, in tennis, switch the racquet to your non-dominant side and play.


2. Work out your brain
You have to use it or lose it! You can work out your mind just like you work out your body. Mental exercises that will keep your brain fit include doing crossword puzzles, playing chess, or memorizing names, shopping lists, and phone numbers. When I was a young boy, to keep my brain function strong, my father had me memorize Tang Dynasty poetry. Every day I had to memorize a new poem and recite it back. Learn the words to a poem or a new song and repeat them back from memory. Set aside the calculator and add manually instead. Keep challenging yourself with tasks that are new to you.

Whatever mental exercise you choose, the key to success is to practice every day at the same time; you are developing and activating new neural pathways, and consistent cycles will keep the brain on track.




3. Move your fingers to improve your brain
Many people marvel that Asian children seem so intelligent. It could be because they use their fingers more frequently. They eat with chopsticks and at one time, they used to compute with an abacus in school. In fact, some studies have been done with children who use an abacus daily, and findings show that engaging the fingers stimulates nerve endings that go directly to the brain, increasing circulation. Take advantage of this by practicing motor activities that use your fingertips, like crocheting, knitting, and other arts and crafts where you are manipulating small parts. Try playing the piano or a stringed instrument.

Here is an exercise you can do anywhere, at any time. Put one finger on top of the one next to it, then try to stack the next finger on top of that. Or hold a pencil or pen between your index and middle fingers, roll it over until it's balanced between the middle and ring fingers, then again to between the ring finger and pinky. This exercise has a beneficial impact on brain health for anyone at any age, but especially for people in their 40s, 50s and beyond,when signs of brain aging starts to set in.

Why does this work? A map of the brain shows that the nerve endings on your fingertips correspond to more areas of the brain than any other body area, except perhaps the tongue and lips. Therefore, finger exercise and movements can be useful in stimulating the neurons in the brain. The National Institute of Mental Health conducted experiments that showed finger exercises enlarged the capacity of the participants' brains, increased connections between neurons, forged new neural pathways, and increased circulation to the brain areas. The researchers concluded that finger exercise contributed significantly to brain plasticity, the ability of the brain to renew itself. Increased circulation means more oxygen and nutrients for the brain cells and decreased waste products that clog up the brain.


4. Stimulate brain acuity with self-massage
To improve concentration and memory try this self-massage that stimulates two easy-to-find acupressure points on your neck at the base of the skull. Cross your hands behind you with the palms cradling the back of your head, your thumbs in the grooves on each side of your neck, and your index fingers crossing one another below the skull, just above the thumbs. Sit in a chair, lean your head back, and let it rest against the pressure of your thumbs and index fingers. Slowly inhale deeply through your nose and exhale through your mouth, letting your whole body relax. Do this for three to five minutes. You'll increase blood flow to the brain and at the same time relax the neck muscles, which often tense up in response to stress, constricting blood vessels in the area.

~satu hari di hari raya!~

hmm...da genap sebulan muslimin dan muslimat berpuasa..seluruh umat islam dipelusuk dunia akan meraikan hari yang dinanti2 oleh mereka semua...iaitu 1 syawal=hari raya aidilfilri.di kesempatan ini aku ingin menyusun sepuluh jari mohon kemaafan kepada semua atas silap dan salah.Manusia tak terlepas daripada melakukan kesilapan atas kealpaan diri sendiri.Selamat ari raya semua!~


Justeru, bagi mengekalkan kelangsungan amal ibadat serta hubungan intim dengan Maha Pencipta, adalah disarankan agar kawan-kawan sekalian memastikan beberapa panduan di bawah ini:

1) Paling penting yang perlu anda lakukan sebelum yang lain, memohon pertolongan Allah SWT agar terus memberikan hidayat-Nya, menetapkan iman pada jalan agama-Nya serta memperkasa diri dengan ilmu pengetahuan agama.

2) Kekalkan amalan takwa yang digarap ketika melaksanakan ibadat puasa di bulan Ramadan walaupun menjangkau bulan Syawal sebagai bekalan setahun untuk Ramadan akan datang.

3) Perbanyakkan beramal dengan amalan-amalan sunat yang dilakukan pada bulan Ramadan untuk kelangsungan di bulan Syawal dan seterusnya seperti solat-solat sunat, puasa-puasa sunat, banyak berdoa.

4) Banyak bergaul dengan golongan para Solihin seperti majlis zikir, nasihat, kaunseling dan tazkirah.

5) Memperdalami maklumat dan ilmu pengetahuan mengenai sejarah kehidupan para Anbiya’, Nabi Muhammad s.a.w., para sahabat, tokoh-tokoh sarjana Islam terkemuka dalam pelbagai bidang ilmu pengetahuan yang pernah melonjakkan Islam, sama ada melalui pembacaan, mendengar kuliah atau cakera padat, kaset agama dan sebagainya.

6) Memperbanyakkan mendengar kuliah-kuliah fardu ‘Ain di masjid atau surau secara langsung ataupun kaset dan cakera padat (sebagai bahan rujukan tambahan).

7) Memelihara tuntutan ibadat khusus seperti solat lima waktu, mengqada’ puasa yang tertinggal kerana sakit, musafir atau uzur syari’e, kerana ia amat dituntut untuk dilakukan segera.

8) Memelihara amalan-amalan sunat seperti puasa enam hari di bulan syawal, bersedekah, menziarahi sanak-saudara, jiran tetangga, sahabat-handai dan lain-lain.

9) Membaca al-Quran, bermula dengan menghafaz surah-surah pendek dan menghafaz ayat-ayat penting sebagai pendiding diri seperti ayat kursi, surah al-Mulk, Yasin dan lain-lain.

10) Memperbanyak zikir dan wirid, terutamanya zikir Ma’thurat susunan Imam Syahid Hasan al-Banna.

11) Menjauhkan diri dari perkara-perkara yang boleh merosakkan hati, sama ada bergaul dengan golongan maksiat, menonton filem lucah, membaca majalah-majalah yang boleh melalaikan seperti hiburan dan lain-lain, mendengar muzik yang melalaikan dan banyak lagi.

12) Bertaubatlah kepada Allah SWT dengan kadar segera dengan menyesali apa yang telah dilakukan yang menyalahi hukum syarak dan berazam tidak akan mengulanginya pada masa-masa akan datang.

13) Berhenti dari merokok terutamanya jenama rokok milik Zionis Israel, Amerika dan Britain yang menghimpun dana bagi membeli senjata untuk membunuh saudara-saudara Islam di Palestin, Lubnan dan lain-lain.

14) Menyesali atas perbuatan menghadiri program-program maksiat seperti hiburan yang melalaikan atau sukan yang menghalang diri dari menunaikan solat lima waktu.

15) Gigih untuk meninggalkan segala tegahan dan larangan Allah serta Rasulullah s.a.w dan bersedia melakukan segala perintah dengan penuh rasa tanggungjawab dan pasrah kepada arahan kedua-duanya.

Janganlah jadi golongan yang hanya mengenali Allah SWT di bulan Ramadan semata-mata dengan amalan yang banyak, malah jadikanlah diri anda sekalian sebagai hamba-hamba Allah yang bertakwa sepanjang masa.

~Reason behind fasting~


1 – Fasting is a means that makes us appreciate and give thanks for pleasures. For fasting means giving up eating, drinking and intercourse, which are among the greatest pleasures. By giving them up for a short time, we begin to appreciate their value. Because the blessings of Allaah are not recognized, but when you abstain from them, you begin to recognize them, so this motivates you to be grateful for them.

2 – Fasting is a means of giving up haraam things, because if a person can give up halaal things in order to please Allaah and for fear of His painful torment, then he will be more likely to refrain from haraam things. So fasting is a means of avoiding the things that Allaah has forbidden.

3 – Fasting enables us to control our desires, because when a person is full his desires grow, but if he is hungry then his desire becomes weak. Hence the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “O young men! Whoever among you can afford to get married, let him do so, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and protecting one’s chastity. Whoever cannot do that, let him fast, for it will be a shield for him.”

4 – Fasting makes us feel compassion and empathy towards the poor, because when the fasting person tastes the pain of hunger for a while, he remembers those who are in this situation all the time, so he will hasten to do acts of kindness to them and show compassion towards them. So fasting is a means of feeling empathy with the poor.

5 – Fasting humiliates and weakens the Shaytaan; it weakens the effects of his whispers (waswaas) on a person and reduces his sins. That is because the Shaytaan “flows through the son of Adam like blood” as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, but fasting narrows the passages through which the Shaytaan flows, so his influence grows less.

Shaykh al-Islam said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 25/246

Undoubtedly blood is created from food and drink, so when a person eats and drinks, the passages through which the devils flow – which is the blood – become wide. But if a person fasts, the passages through which the devils flow become narrow, so hearts are motivated to do good deeds, and to give up evil deeds.

6 – The fasting person is training himself to remember that Allaah is always watching, so he gives up the things that he desires even though he is able to take them, because he knows that Allaah can see him.

7 – Fasting means developing an attitude of asceticism towards this world and its desires, and seeking that which is with Allaah.

8 – It makes the Muslim get used to doing a great deal of acts of worship, because the fasting person usually does more acts of worship and gets used to that.

These are some of the reasons why fasting is enjoined. We ask Allaah to help us to achieve them and to worship Him properly.

~why we must read Al-Quran?~



Why do we read Quran, even if we can't understand a single Arabic word? This is beautiful story, please read till end and forward to all you knows...

An old American Muslim lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Qur'an. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.

One day the grandson asked,
"Grandpa! I try to read the Qur'an just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Qur'an do?"

The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied,
"Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water."

The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house.

The grandfather laughed and said,
"You'll have to move a little faster next time,"

He sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead.

The old man said,
"I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough,"

He went out the door to watch the boy try again. At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would Leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty.

Out of breath, he said,
"See Grandpa, it's useless!"

"So you think it is useless?"

The old man said,
"Look at the basket."

The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal basket and was now clean, inside and out.

"Son, that's what happens when you read the Qur'an. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and outside. That is the work of Allah in our lives."

Moral of the story : Read Al-Quran frequently as it will purify our heart. When we have pure heart, it is easy to do righteous and leave jahiliyah and badness in ourselves.

hostel..x balik...keciann....hehe..on da way nk sampai bilik 102,nampak mak cik cleaner tgh

lepak2..cm terkejut jer tgok aku...aku x bersalah!...cam x penah tgok org lak mak cik

nh..hehehe....ape la agaknye ek student2 2 buat yg stay kat cmpus...stadi?g


jalan2?lepak2?..ntah...x sempat nak interbiu salah sorg..hahaha..huhu..da dekat nk maghrib ni..

gerak lak g mydin mall...carik barang skit..humm...pas solat kat surau hmpir lupa nk belanja

makan kfc sorang kawan ni..aritu lg janji nk belanja sebab bufday dia bulan june ritu..hehe...tunggu dia jap..kul 8

dia ckap dia gerak...ok..smbil makan sambil sembang...bla..bla..bla...bnyak tol sembng...hoho..dalam 9.30 gerak balik...huhu...pkah lak

mesej suruh anta buku log kat email...kacau tol...sambil melayan facebook~huhu~kembali

memikirkan projek dan assignment lab kena submit after cuti..humm~tak sabar nk cuti lpas

Persiapan sebelum Ramadhan

  1. Merasa gembira dan berdoa
Rasulullah menggembirakan para sahabatnya sempena menyambut ketibaan bulan Ramadhan.
Panduan dan dorongan yang diberikan oleh Rasulullah membuatkan para sahabat merasa gembira menyambut ketibaan bulan Ramadhan yang mulai.

At-Tabrani dan lain-lain meriwayatkan daripada Anas r.a. bahawa Rasulullah s.a.w. sebelum tiba bulan Ramadhan, mulai daripada masuk bulan Rejab, seringkali berdoa:

“Ya Allah, berikan keberkatan kepada kami pada bulan Rejab dan Sya’ban, dan sampaikan kami ke bulan Ramadhan”


  1. Berpuasa sunat
Di bulan Sya’ban, Rasulullah s.a.w. memperbanyak puasa sunat. Kita digalakkan memperbanyak puasa sunat ketika di bulan Sya’ban, sebagi mencontohi amalan baginda. Kalau tidak boleh dibuat semua, janganlah ditinggalkan semua.

Yang untungnya kita juga, kerana dapat mengecapi ganjaran pahala dan rahmat Allah s.w.t., bahkan melatih diri untuk berpuasa sebelum datangnya Ramadhan yang mulia


  1. Mengqadha puasa wajib
Puasa Ramadhan yang tertinggal wajib diqadha pada bila-bila masa. Bulan Sya’ban merupakan kesmpatan terakhir untuk tahun bagi mengqadhakan puasa yang tertinggal pada tahun sudah.

Maksud peluang terakhir ini ialah bagi mengelakkan membayar fidyah, kerana jika telah masuk bulan Ramadhan, sedangkan puasa Ramadhan yang lalu yang tertinggal belum diqadha, maka disamping wajib mengqadhanya, wajib juga mengeluarkan fidyah.

Jadi kepada yang belum membayar puasanya lagi, lekas-lekas yea!

  1. Membayar Fidyah
Fidyah dalam hal puasa bererti membayar denda kerana tidak berpuasa Ramadhan dengan sebab-sebab tertentu atau kerana melambat-lambat mengqadha puasa Ramadhan sehingga masuk Ramadhan yang berikutnya.
Antara sebab wajib mengeluarkan fidyah puasa ialah:

(i) Tidak berupaya berpuasa. Seorang yang wajib berpuasa tetapi tidak sanggup lagi mengerjakannya disebabkan tua atau lemah. Sekiranya dia berpuasa, dia tidak akan dapat menanggung kepayahannya. Maka orang sedemikian wajib membayar fidyah sahaja dan tidak diwajibkan mengqadha puasanya.

(ii) Orang yang sakit tidak ada harapan sembuh dan tidak berupaya untuk berpuasa. Maka dia wajib membayar fidyah sahaja, tanpa menqadha puasanya. Sementara orang sakit yang ditakuti akan bertambah sakitnya jika dia berpuasa tetapi ada harapan untuk sembuh, maka tidak wajib baginya berpuasa. Tetapi apabila dia sembuh, wajib ke atasnya mengqadha puasa yang ditinggalkannya itu tanpa membayar fidyah.

(iii) Perempuan hamil yang sedang menyusukan anak, iaitu jika sekiranya mereka berpuasa maka ditakuti akan mendatangkan mudharat kepada anak yang dikandung atau boleh mengurangkan air susu yang akan memberi kesan kurang baik kepada anak yang menyusu. Dalam hal ini, di samping mereka diwajibkan membayar fidyah, mereka juga wajib mengqadha puasa puasanya. Namun jika dia berbuka kerana takut akan kemudharatan dirinya sahaja, atau takut akan kemudharatan diinya dan juga anaknya, maka wajib dia mengqadha puasa sahaja tanpa membayar fidyah.

(iv) Orang yang tidak mengqadha puasa pada tahun berkenaan sehingga masuk Ramadhan berikutnya tanpa uzur syar’i. Di samping wajib ke atasnya membayar fidyah (satu cupak bagi sehari puasa), dia juga wajib mengqadha puasa yang ditinggalkan itu. Kadar jumlah fidyah tersebut akan berganda (dua cupak bagi sehari puasa) jika ditangguhkan lagi sehingga datang tahun berikutnya. Demikianlah seterusnya, setahun ke setahun kadar jumlah fidyah akan berganda-ganda jika qadha puasa tidak tertunai

Kami tidak berzina !
Maaf, saya tidak menuduh awak berzina, tetapi awak menghampiri zina.

Kami hanya barbual-bual, berbincang, bertanya khabar, minum-minum di kafe. Adakah itu menghampiri zina?
Ya,perbuatan itu boleh menjerumuskan pelakunya ke lembah penzinaan.

Kami dapat mengawal perasaan dan kami tidak berniat ke arah itu.
Hari ini ya. Esok mungkin kamu kecundang.Iblis akan memerangkap kamu. Iblis amat berpengalaman dan tipu dayanya sangat halus. Ia telah menipu moyang kita yang pertama,Adam dan Hawa. Iblis amat licik. Ingat, pesanan Rasulullah : Janganlah engkau bersendirian dengan seorang wanita kecuali yang ketiganya, syaitan(Tabrani) . Kita lemah menghadapi tipu daya Iblis.

Tidak semestinya semua orang bercinta* menjurus kepada penzinaan. Ada yang bercinta dalam telefon dan hantar SMS sahaja. Tidak pernah bersua muka pun!
Betul .Tetapi itu adalah salah satu yang dimaksudkan dengan menghampiri zina. Memang pada awalnya tidak bersua muka. Tapi perasaan pasti bergelora, lambat laun desakan nafsu dan perasaan serta hasutan Iblis akan mengheret kepada suatu pertemuan. Pertemuan pertama tidak akan terhenti disitu sahaja.Percayalah, ia akan berlanjutan. Tidakkah itu boleh membawa kepada perzinaan akhirnya?

Takkan nak berbual-bual pun tak boleh? Itupun zina ke?
Zina ada bermacam-macam jenis dan peringkatnya, ada zina betul, ada zina tangan iaitu berpegang-pegangan, ada zina mata iaitu melihat kekasih dengan perasaan berahi. Zina hati iaitu dengan khayalan berahi dengan kekasih sepertimana yang digambarkan oleh Rasulullah: Kedua-dua tangan juga berzina dan zinanya adalah menyentuh. Kedua kaki juga berzina dan zinanya menuju ke tempat pertemuan. Mulut juga berzina dan zinanya adalah ciuman (Muslim dan Abu Daud). Sebenarnya jalan menuju kepada perzinaan amat banyak. Jangan biarkan diri kita melalui mana-mana jalan perzinaan.

Duduk berdiskusi pelajaran tak boleh ke? Bincang pelajaran sahaja!(bagi kes belajar berdua-duaan SAHAJA)* Berdiskusi pelajaran, betul ke? Jangan tipu. Allah tahu apa yang terselit di dalam hati hamba-hambaNya. Kita belajar nak keberkatan. Kalau cemerlang sekalipun, kalau tidak diberkati oleh Allah, kejayaan tidak akan membawa kebahagiaan. Hidup di dunia tidak bahagia,akhirat lagi lah. Jangan berselindung disebalik pelajaran yang mulia. Allah suka kepada orang berilmu. Jadi belajar hendaklah ikut batas dan ketentuan Allah. Belajar akan jadi ibadat. Adakah berdiskusi macam ni akan ditulis oleh malaikat Raqib dan Atid.

Sungguh! Bincang pelajaran sahaja. Ni Study Group.(bagi kes berdua-duaan SAHAJA)
Study Group...? nampak lain macam saja, manja, senyum memanjang, tak macam gaya berdiskusi. Takkan study group berdua sahaja? Kemana-manapun berdua. Kalau yea pun, carilah group study ramai sikit. Kalau duduk berdua-duaan macam ni... betul ke bincang pelajaran? Jangan-jangan sekejap saja bincang pelajaran, yang lain tu... banyak masa dihabiskan dengan fantasi cinta!

Tidaklah. Sungguh berbincang pelajaran.
Baik sungguh awak berdua. Takkanlah awak berdua tak ada perasaan apa-apa? Awak kurang sihat ke? Ingat, kita bukan malaikat, tak ada nafsu. Kita manusia. Jangan menafikan fitrah manusia. Kita ada nafsu, ada keinginan. Itulah manusia.

Kami berdua sama-sama belajar, study group, saling memberi semangat dan motivasi.
Tak adakah kaum sejenis yang boleh dijadikan rakan belajar? Habis sudahkah kaum sejenis yang boleh memberikan motivasi? Jangan hina kaum sejenis kita. Ingat, banyak orang cemerlang yang belajar hanya dengan kaum sejenis. Lebih tenang perasaan, tidak terganggu, dapat berkat dan rahmat pula .

Takkanlah tak ada langsung ruang yang dibenarkan dalam Islam untuk bercinta?
Adakah Islam membunuh terus naluri cinta? Naluri adalah sebahagian daripada kesempurnaan kejadian manusia. Naluri ingin memiliki dan suka kalau dimiliki (sense of belonging) adalah fitrah. Kalau naluri itu tidak wujud pada diri seseorang, tak normal namanya. Islam bukan datang membunuh naluri dan keinginan itu, tidak! Islam tidak suruh membunuh naluri seperti yang dilakukan oleh para paderi atau sami. Jangan nafikan naluri ini. Jangan berbohong pada diri sendiri. Bukan salah dan berdosa kalau perasaan itu datang tanpa diundang. Itu adalah fitrah. Cuma tudukkan naluri itu untuk patuh pada perintah Allah. Jadilah manusia yang sihat nalurinya. Jangan jadi malaikat! Kerana Allah jadikan kita sebagai manusia. Dunia dan segala isinya akan hambar tanpa naluri atau nafsu.

Islam takde ke couple-cople ni?
Cinta secara Islam hanya satu, iaitu perkahwinan. Cinta berlaku setelah ijab kabul, cinta selepas kahwin. Itulah cinta sacral dan qudus. Cinta yang bermaruah. Bukan cinta murahan. Inilah kemuliaan Islam. Apabila Islam menegah sesuatu perkara, tentu ia gantikan dengan sesuatu yang lebih baik. Jika ia menegah cinta antara lelaki dan perempuan sebelum kahwin, ia membawa perkahwinan sebagai ganti yang lebih baik. Sabda Rasulullah : Tidak ada yang lebih patut bagi dua orang yang saling mencintai kecuali nikah. (Ibnu Majah). Cinta adalah maruah manusia. Ia telalu mulia. Kalau begitu, cinta* remaja semua menghampiri kepada penzinaan? Ya, kalau lelaki dan perempuan bertemu tentu perasaan turut terusik. Kemudian perasaan dilayan. Kemudian teringat, rindu. Kemudian diatur pertemuan. Kemudian duduk berdua-dua. Kemudian mencari tempat sunyi sedikit. Kemudian berbual panjang sehingga malam gelap. Hubungan makin akrab, dah berani pegang tangan, duduk makin dekat. Kalau tadi macam kawan, sekarang macam pengantin baru semalam bukankah mereka semakin hampir dengan penzinaan? Berapa ramai orang yang bercinta telah sampai kepada daerah penzinaan dan kesengsaraan. Kasihanilah diri dan ibu bapa yang melahirkan kita dalam keadaan putih bersih tanpa noda daripada seekor nyamuk sekalipun!

Masih ramai orang yang bercinta tetapi tetap selamat tidak sampai berzina. Kami tahan diuji. Allah yang menciptakan manusia, Dia tahu kekuatan dan kelemahan manusia. Manusia tidak tahan ujian. Oleh itu Allah memerintahkan supaya jauhi perkara yang ditegah takut manusia akan kecundang. Jadi manusia itu tidak tahan diuji? Kita manusia dari keturunan Adam dan Hawa, sejak dari awal penciptaan manusia. Allah takdirkan satu peristiwa untuk iktibar manusia. Allah tegah Adam dan Hawa supaya tidak memakan buah khuldi dalam syurga. Buah yang lain boleh makan. Allah tahu kelemahan pada ciptaan manusia. Tidak tahan diuji. Oleh itu Allah berpesan kepada Adam dan Hawa, jangan menghampiri pokok khuldi itu. Firman Allah: Wahai Adam! Tinggallah engkau dan isterimu di dalam syurga serta makanlah dari makanannya sepuas-puasnya apa yang kamu sukai, dan janganlah kamu hampiri pokok ini. (jika kamu menghampirinya) maka kamu adalah orang-orang yang zalim. (al-Araf:19) Tegahan yang sebenarnya adalah memakan buah khuldi. Jika menghampiri perkara tegahan, takut nanti mereka akan memakannya. Demikianlah dengan zina. Ditegah berzina. Maka jalan ke arah penzinaan juga dilarang. Takut apabila berhadapan dengan godaan zina, kedua-duanya akan kecundang. Cukuplah kita belajar daripada pengalaman nenek moyang kita Adam dan Hawa.

1. Running
It was a form of training for traveling, jihad, seeking provision, etc. It was reported by Ahmad ibn Hanbal that the Prophet raced Aishah and she outran him. Then they had another race where he outran her, whereupon he said, “This time makes up for the other.”

2. Horsemanship and horse racing
In Sahih Muslim it is reported that Allah’s Messenger said, “Ride horses, for they are the legacy of your father Ismail (Ishmael).”



3. Archery
A number of hadiths show that this sport was popular among early Muslims. Uqbah ibn Amir said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah saying while he was on the pulpit, ‘In the verse, [And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war], the word power means archery; the word force means archery.’”

4. Fencing
Arabs knew a sport by the name niqaf, which is in fact the origin of fencing as known today. One of its forms was a special dance that the Prophet witnessed being done by Abyssinians inside a mosque. This niqaf refers to some movements being performed with arrows. In a narration reported by Abu Salamah, those Abyssinians were playing with their spears.

5. Wrestling
The Prophet wrestled with a number of men, one of whom was Rukanah ibn Abd Yazid ibn Hashim ibn Abdul-Muttalib, who lived in Makkah and was a skillful wrestler. (Al-Hakim, Abu Dawud, and At-Tirmidhi) .

6. Swimming
As-Suyuti reported that Abu Al-Qasim Al-Baghawi narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas that the Prophet and some of his Companions once swam in a stream. That day, the Prophet said, “Let everyone among us swim towards his friend.” The Prophet himself swam towards Abu Bakr until he embraced him saying, “Here I am and my friend” (see Al-Zurqani’s comment on Al-Mawahib Al-Ladunniyyah, vol. 1, p. 194).

~MidSEm Breakk~

hummm...midsem break!perkataan yang sangat dinanti oleh sume warga cmpus..termasuklah aku..ha3..cuti seminggu 2...sape tak nak..seperti biase rumate2 ku sume da balik ari kamis lg..aku ngn aja da plan nak balik esok ari saje...senang..tak perlu berkejar....motosikal da ada!tinggal laa aku sorg2 dalam bilik yang sunyi itu..
menghitung waktu cuti...aku watpe ek??...seperti biase menghabiskan waktu dirumah surf internet..hahaha..oppsss...tetibe teringat esei miss nad...jgan lupa submit 1 sept!!...kemalasan terus melanda diri untuk mengarang..baru type satu perenggan da tutup laptop...hehehe..
bosan plak bile terasa cuti lame sangat...besok nk jenguk campus..ape da jadik kat sane ek..hehehe...jumaat lak nk amek aja..dia nak amek moto kat umah..merempit la aku sem ni g kelas....tak payah lg naek van kaler kuneng kena tunggu2 org lak 2..bosan...huhu
bile pikir2 balik cm berat nak mula kelas after cuti....huu..projek usahawan,test data structures,esei bi,bla..bla..bla keje kena buat..huhu...adat la sebagai pelajar...demi segulung ijazah..chayok2!..make sure kesihatan diri tiptop lepas cuti...semoga pandemik H1N1 tak menular kat cmpus....huhuhu
